Training for May 2 will be in Kokomo @ 6am. Chad Coy has asked us to come up. It should be a good time. Look at the calendar to see what events will be focused on and know your weights. It will speed things up!

On the fence for Sunday Kokomo. I've been working my ass off lately. Ok, ok I am just a slacking ass. Working this whole week and then only have the weekend off then gone for another week so trying to spend a little time with the wife. Trying to work it in though. Sounds like a good time and I need it as well. I will let you know John! | |

hey Marc, it's Donovan. I'll b @ John's on Sun. afternoon to train. I have some work 2 do n the morning and can not go 2 Kokomo. would b great 2 have someone else 2 train with. just another option if ur interested. | |

Marc, if yo can make it to kokomo, that wold be great. If not, come at 11 with donovan. i have a newb coming out at that time too. we will make it a 2 hour session - productive and fast. Donovan, i plan on takingyou through the ringer on the events, so be ready. At the same time i will be teaching our newb the ropes, so be ready for that too.

This sunday is mothers day, and i am planning on starting my fence this weekend as well. i want to talk to allof you about training this weekend, so please post your thoughts here... Definitely training, just not sure of time. Sunday moring could work well at my place if everyone is okay with that. i will post the training regime here very shortly.

Above is training for May 9 @ 10 am. Know your weights for log-reps are given. if you need a weight lighter than 170, you will use the bar. jump in on yoke (bing your belt), keep track of your sets on tire (each set is 2 reps), work up on weight for stones, if you miss drop to previous stone. | |

So whats the deal around the DB Press... like what are we doing? Is it a one arm DB press like some of the contest? Are we axle Clean & Pressing each rep? | |

It is a 1 arm press/jerk that is being used in a lot of contests and needs to be practiced. Clean once, press for reps... | |

Hey John! I get my schedule tomorrow for June. I will let you know when I will be able to make it out. Finally got my spunk, strength, and drive back. Don't know what happened for a few weeks there but I am confident I will be ready for CCSM. Especially with the Hooter girls out there. Love that there will be a beer garden as well. Just be careful, it is becoming more and more enticing to puss out early and kick it with the hooter girls in the beer garden! LOL. Anyway, I have Ohio this weekend which should give me a good idea as to where I am at and then I am working the next. Talk to ya soon! | |
